Her mission is to create moments that last a lifetime - for her clients to look back on their photos one day and feel everything. Every tear, every touch, every laugh. She understands the weight of this calling and puts everything she has behind it.
PROJECT DETAILS
The Challenge
Bridget had just developed a new visual identity with a brand designer and wanted a fresh website that reflected her new brand.
In our initial conversations, she mentioned that her existing website was sparse and felt bland - which is the complete opposite of her personality, style, and the incredible energy she brings to her work. Bridget thrives in the deeply personal connections she creates with her clients, and she wanted that connection to come across visually through her website.
She felt that her website didn’t showcase the full breadth of her talents as a photographer. And she found it time consuming and difficult to update herself, causing her undue stress.
Her client base and word-of-mouth leads were already well-established, but she was embarrassed to share her website with anyone.
She was hesitant to raise her package pricing because she didn’t think her website was up-to-par with other high-end photographers.
She also felt exhausted with some of the back-and-forth communications between prospective clients curious about working with her, asking a ton of questions, but then never committing. After long photo shoots, editing, or weekend weddings, the last thing she wanted to do was respond to emails that really weren’t her ideal clientele.

Bridget needed to stand out from the crowd with a strong website reflective of her brand. She wanted the ability to update her portfolio frequently and with ease. Website Design
After receiving all the logo and brand elements from the designer, we were off to the drawing board. We designed some static mockups of the website to give Bridget an idea of the full vision. And she LOVED the direction!

We used custom code to ensure all typography, images, and other design elements were on brand. This created a cohesive visual user experience that solidifies trust. By dropping in colorful, whimsical graphics we were able to weave in Bridget’s fun, dynamic personality. The approach also helps lead the viewer to key information.
Reach a more targeted audience + improve customer journey
Bridget used our website content workbook to help craft succinct, keyword headlines and strategically written copy that now lets visitors know exactly what she offers and what to expect. These copy cues are important SEO features and also help her reach the more specialized audience she wants to work with.

One of Bridget’s biggest website objectives was to streamline her leads process. So we helped create a comprehensive contact form that connects to her CRM to gather leads directly from her website. It saves her a ton of time! We also connected a subscriber form that builds her email list on autopilot for direct digital marketing.
Taking advantage of Squarespace’s unique blog features, we designed a photography portfolio for her that’s easy to maintain. She’s able to quickly update projects, add categories and tags, and can filter for specific images, highlighting them in different areas of the website.
